My base pals won't eat from the feed box
I have 2 lamballs as my base pals, and I placed a feed box and put berries in it (I think 36 atm). But they won't eat from it.

I've moved the feed box 3 times to see if that fixes it, and it hasn't. They are able to put more berries into the feed box, but just won't eat from it.

Do I need a certain amount or type of food in it? Is it just bugged? Should I restart with a new world?

Here is my 4th placement of the feed box, and they still won't eat.
Theyll only eat if they get Hungry status, which is like 1/3rd Hunger bar

I've had quite a few pals derp around and not eat, or they get stuck somewhere unable to go eat. If it says they're hungry I'd toss them in the box and bring them back out, usually if they're displaying they're hungry they'll go right to it and eat before anything else (unless it's night time/sleep).

Okay, I will try that. If it doesn't work, I guess I'll just have to change them out periodically or manually feed them.

I always recommend placing the feeder closer to the berry field as well. It seems more often than not when the harvested/mined/lumbering is complete they seem to take it to the closest storage container and it seems that the feeder counts.

Ooooh okay, that must be the issue then lol. I just saw their hunger bars were almost half empty, and thought they would eat then.

Yea, look at their status indicator on the right. If it says "In Good Condition", they are neither tired, hungry or bored.
