Is there breeding and shinies?
I always enjoyed the breeding system in pokemon for min maxxing stats and shiny hunting. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a shiny variant or if the breeding is similar in Palworld?

Shinies seem a lot more common than I originally thought they were going to be

Breeding is a thing, but I haven’t dabbled much in it yet myself. There are shinies but their not the traditional kind you’d seen in Pokémon. They are bigger and usually come with a strong move that the pal doesn’t normally learn, along with a beneficial passive trait.

The game is sorta Legends Arceus and ark. Which honestly is what the pokemon community wanted.

That said Apperently in the game files their called "rares" not shinies.

Well, to be fair they are just larger versions of their normal Pals. So they aren't that interesting.

No they come with powerful traits as well (like Lucky).

i have been dabbling in breeding a little so far and honestly its irritating me because it takes sooooooooooooooooooooo freaking long to make a cake that you MUST have to make the pals breed and I've done it three times now and NONE of the babies are either species as the parents but they do inherit the parents passive skills....I have no idea yet if there are certain elementals that you can put together to make a legit hybrid or not as the only hybrids we've gotten were either from eggs found in the wild or saved from the camps (each camp has a captive pal in a cage in the center of it and sometimes they're hybird)

would be nice if there is a breeding guide out on this soon because I wanted a better bird and I put two birds together and got....a lightning wolf....yeah....at the very least the baby should always be the same species as one of the parents so its frustrating that babies are so effin random (also neither parent is even electric either)

Already exists. Literally just google palworld breeding. If you breed 2x the same creature, you get the same creature in the egg. Fusion pals are bred by combining certain species (for example female Vanwyrm + male Foxcicle = Vanwyrm Cyst).
