Honestly this game does look fun but they abandoned their last game. Please be aware that they might do the same here, hopefully they won't but I can't trust them myself
edit: guess im wrong, oh well, gamer has shown me the light
Edit again: a friend bought the game for me, so uh thanks that guy

Craftopia's still being worked on but it's slow progress.
Szorrin Jan 20, 2024 @ 3:44pm
Craftopia literally had a patch last month, they also posted a roadmap. In what way is that 'abandoned'?
Mechnokor Jan 20, 2024 @ 3:44pm
Abandoned would mean the game died, past tense.

Exactly, they just posted up some bugfixes and server qol changes legit in December.

Not only has Craftopia recently been updated, but they've posted an extensive roadmap of what's coming next. Stop spreading misinformation.

Craftopia and Palworld are developed by different teams. Craftopia still has regular updates, but that has no bearing on Palworld's development.
Shiro Jan 20, 2024 @ 3:46pm
I was a little worried about that, however... I've already passed the refund window anyways so... even if they do abandon the game later down the line, not much I can do about it now.

I wouldnt call this misinformation. They have multiple titles still in EA. It's always a red sign if a developer keeps releasing games in EA. But anw, this game is fun even if it stays like this you will get your money's worth

They also added partially a new biome, new skills, etc last month too.

You don't own Craftopia, so why do you feel the need to come in here spreading lies?

This is understandable. People who bought Craftopia will be dissatisfied.
That game is still in early access. and I don't think it will be completed.
I guess, People from countries other than Japan probably don't read the president's note.
He said "All of Craftpia's sales of 1 billion yen were poured into Palworld."
"I thought Palworld should be released around the time my account balance runs out."
"I don't want to make a large scale game. This company clearly isn't cut out for that."

It is well-received as a success story in Japan. but It is believed that Craftpia updates are not expected.
I would like to clarify so that there is no misunderstanding. I really like Palworld.
I can understand Craftpia users' concerns, It's that all.

Different teams in the same company, under the same management... Huh, seems like different people coding the game doesn't really matter

It is legit misinformation, claiming they dropped support for a game, while the game's not only still getting content, but also bugfixes, is a blatant lie.
