Anyone getting bored ?
Hit the 20 hour mark..

Exploration is boring.

Combat is boring.

Base building is bare bones,

Making ingots for what ? more arrows ?

Flying around on a flying mount picking up chests that contain nothing really changed my mind about the game.

I think around 6h, the map is just empty. Leveling up basically means capturing the same type 10 times. Crafting is overwhelming if you don't set out your base to be a manufacturing haven. I am looking at empty plains right now, takes too long to get anywhere and nothing feels rewarding

The game is early access though...

The problem is the rate of meaningful progression starts to fall off at about level 15. Almost every single interesting thing is clustered in the last 10 levels building wise and once you realize that just because you can make guns doesn't mean you should until you roll a higher blueprint.

That's how survivals go for the most part, play any other survival game and it'll be the same, everything is cool and new at first, knock down trees, build a house, farm, etc. then you realize wow this big open world game filled with fun content is just repetitive and it doesn't seem too fun anymore, exact reason why i prefer rpgs over survivals, at least rpgs have story line and choices there is receptivity in those as well but the wight of it comes slower. at least that's just my opinion

There's been a few survival games that have kept people interested, it's the execution of the combination of repetitive tasks, combat, and base building that almost all survival games fail to properly do

lmao sometimes people shouldnt get any new game just to grind at it or finish it all in one playthrough
let me guess, solo player? you need friends and discord to keep it fresh

Bro played on casual with custom settings set to 3 times everything and blew through the game in 1 night. Now complaining... play on hard and enjoy getting your butt handed to you and actually having to play a game for once.

What game are you playing? At 15 you haven't even unlocked anything, you are just getting into needing ore. You MIGHT have killed the first 2 bosses. Its impossible to have all the monsters by then. You haven't explores to 30+ areas. Maybe get off steam reviews and try playing the game... and not on casual or with custom cheat settings.

Oh hey, we have a difficulty setting elitist.
