I use esc 'Main menu' -> 'Exit game' and afaik nothing keeps running.
Did the same...
Also noticed if I open a browser (tested opera, chrome and edge) I only get a white screen and nothing happens....this sucks
EDIT: I just couldn't even restart nor shut down the pc properly I had to hard kill it....I mean wtf is this? This can't defintivly not be normal...
Yes and no, I host my own coop server but on a different PC so I guess this would't be the problem I think.
That having said i will pay attention, thank you.
Does it on my PC. but not on the laptop.
Not sure why its a huge concern lol.
Every time someone thinks a games Chinese they go all conspiracy theory on it. btw. the games not Chinese.
So it probably triggers based on the time the game has been running and not because of hosting it, kinda interesting to let the devs know
I dont think about it as a conspiracy, I know the game is japanese, but this still a problem to be fixed by the devs, I dont like to turn the PC off everytime I close a game, and its even worse because we need to turn it off by power button, not a really healthy method for the PC
Also for anyone interested there's a thread on reddit about this
https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/19an0hr/cant_close_game_on_steam/
But I may found a solution. Yesterday I didn't close the game via the ingame menu but just good ol' Alt + F4'd the game....and it seemed to work just fine. Dunno if this was just a coincidence but I'll try it from now on and will tell ya if it worked.
Will tell the redditors as wel just in case no one looks into here.
EDIT: Also: their solution was to reinstall/update C++ runtime apperently so I will try that as well. If you want to as well here the microsoft link.
