Assuming you're running the pal dedicated server directly from Steam and not via the SteamCMD method, you'll need to find the "DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini" file within the server folder: ~\steamapps\common\PalServer\
(e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PalServer)
Open/Edit the DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini (in notepad, or any text editor)
Copy the entire contents
Navigate to config folder ~\steamapps\common\PalServer\Pal\Saved\Config\WindowsServer
(Note: this folder will not exist unless you've run the Pal Dedicated Server at least once)
In there you should find a "PalWorldSettings.ini" file
Open/Edit the PalWorldSettings.ini (it will be empty/contain no text)
Paste the settings you copied from the "DefaultPalWorldSetings.ini" into the empty notepad
Edit the line "ServerName="Default Palworld Server"" (it is near the end of the string of text).
Change the "Default Palworld Server" to read whatever you want your server to be named, keeping the name within the quotation marks", e.g. ServerName="My PalWorld Server"
Save and close the file.
Relaunch the server and the name should be whatever you have chosen.
