Can't continuously swing weapons? Any fix?

I used to be able to hold left click to continuously swing my weapon (axe/bat/pickaxe). We had to delete my player file off the server due to a corruption and then delete my local files and reinstall due to another corruption, and since coming back I'm unable to swing continuously. I have to click repeatedly to swing. Anyone know how I can fix this?

seems to be a server software problem... i have the same problem, when playing solo its okay for me

Is it server wide on your end? My friends can all continuously swing just fine, on the same server.

we all got the problem after our character progress was lost, i heard there was a patch, well my server shut down automatically so i guess there was something and then there was the problem... maybe i reinstall the game on the server and see if that helps

Hopefully this helps:

I had a friend join my guild (you may notice your name is blank)
Made him guild master
Left the guild
you should see your name come back
if so, you should have access to regular swinging

Leave and rejoin the guild again, that's how it worked for me

but the main problem is the not continously swinging, isnt it? that wont be solved im afraid, for me only reinstalling the game on the server helped

The problem with this solution of leaving the guild and rejoining is that it will corrupt the player file of everyone not online. This has happened to our guild 4 times now. If you leave the guild make sure all players are online before you do. This is the only fix we have found so far.

I had it fixed when I left the guild then joined other guild. but keep in mind that everyone in your guild should be online before leaving to avoid bugs or infinite loading screen.

I’m having the same problem with the bat as well I did have to delete my character bc I was stuck at the loading screen. My friends and I are in the same server but their games work perfectly fine so I’m curious as to how to fix this issue with the bat as well. I also can’t use my bow sometimes too like it would freeze and not shoot anything. I’m able to move and jump but not able to shoot anything.
