Basically, they don't want the games to be released later than the TV series or whatever.
A simple google would have sufficed.
As for what the game specifically is, I think it's decent, though I'm probably getting close to being done with the game here soon, not that I beat it, but there's a lot of emptiness here and I think rather than grind out all the content available, I'll just come back to the game if it hits 1.0 and start over then.
I tried playing some of the older games, but the writing was... atrocious. Like, I know the writing isn't the focus, and that the game is supposed to be played by kids so as a kid, I had no issues with it. But as an adult, it was the equivalent of being forced to watch a show made for toddlers. It affected me enough that I couldn't get through the game and quit trying to play the older games.
The fan games were slightly better because they didn't have to worry about brand image,
Not sure if the new games are better, I heard good things about pokemon concierge though that's not a game but a show.
thinking about it i should definetly sell that piece of trash. its just collecting dust anyways.
but yeah about the original topic, Palworld is awesome, already way better than any original Pokemon game ever will be. Nintendo doesn't even care about the huge amount of cheaters in Pokemon PVP, a service that literally costs monthly to even play online on the Switch mind you.
