Focus Pals on one task?

Any way to get Pals to focus on one thing in particular? None of my fire Pals will smelt ingots for me.. they're just either going idle or doing something else they are capable of.

Walk up to them and pick them up with F then throw them so they land next to what you want them to do. That will become their primary task and they'll rush to do it whenever it's available.

if this doesnt work i suggest rebuilding your furnace with enough space around it for the pal to work on it sometimes the pathing bugs when there is not enough space

Going to just post something to bring it on top because a lot of trolls are posting nonsense which push back a lot of posts that our fellow players legitimate ask for help in game and such. Until moderators start cleaning the forum from the trolling posts.

If you want a pal to do one specific job then you are best getting a pal that only has kindle work skill to smelt, most of the time pals with multiple work skills will run around and try to do all the jobs they are qualified for. I have a rooby which always smelts and cooks and light torches.
