I will use this information to the very best of my ability, thank you so much.
I did the same dungeon twce after it reset, and new stuff spawn in all the time, boss included
World bosses AND dungeons are random. Dungeons are randomly generated every like 4 hours and the world bosses are pre-determined at world generation. The only except appears to be the King of the Forest Mammorest which always spawns on noob island.
I've played in two worlds and watched a few other friends share screen in different worlds, and yep - the world bosses are different every time (but the always re spawn as what ever they were generated as)
I can possibly still make use of the information he gave me, how ever, as the bosses - at least as far as i can tell - are pulled from the possible spawns in that area. (which are also semi-random at world creation)
It's not really an exact science, just my own observations, but TLDR; him getting a boss there definitely WONT give me the same boss, but it MIGHT indicate the possibility of normal wild Lunaris in that area if I am lucky.
Unless you meant that the habitats are also randomly generated on world generation, which I think it ain't.
Tho that'd be cool as an option, and random spawn generator
That is what I mean. Again, just based on observations. How ever, I am pretty sure the wild spawns are semi RNG. That is to say, each region has, let's say for example, 15 possible Pal that can spawn them, but at world gen it seems to pick more like 6 and selects those 6 some what randomly from the 15... But even the RNG selection isn't totally random, because the 6 have to include a specific combination of typings.
Just as an example, the area around the start where Mammorest is. It "must" have a low tier fire type, but that fire type can be Foxsparks OR Rooby. Which ever it picks at the start will ALWAYS be the only fire type you see in that exact area, but you'll never see both. My current world it only spawns Roobies, but in my previous world and just about everyone else's worlds that I've seen, it spawns Foxsparks instead.
And again, I can be completely wrong. This is just purely conjecture based on my observations from having played/seen multiple words.
Edit: Also to be clear, the map it's self is NOT generated, the map will always be the same as far as I can tell.
Are you referring to the cave? I think the dungeon boss (the one with just the boss or few minions, in the case of PenKing, inside the room where surrounded by pillars) might be random/different on world spawn but they still the same boss which respawn 1 hour after defeated. Lunaris is one of the dungeon bosses on my map as well.
They objectively how the 3rd lowest combat potential in the game, how ever at the end of the day for the average person levels are all that REALLY matters.
Like you won't see the low fire fox monster swapped with the fire goat,at least not in my 6 games so far (yeah lot of friends wanting to try it),tho like you,its from my observations, game still new as hell,so its all theory.
But yeah thats why I say that Luna which is pretty rare and strong, will prob not be semi-wild,as it seem hidden habitats always are (I got it in 3 games, and all were neutral large egg/blackmarket,and had hidden habitat)
