Works on macOS
It appears to work well on macOS using the current version of Crossover.

It is running from a generic Steam bottle. Macbook Pro M2 Max, current version of Crossover, didn’t change any settings from default other than metal and steam interface smooth scroll and gpu web view acceleration to off.

I hope that Palworld can run natively on macOS, currently there are corresponding tools to achieve this.

I would prefer native support, but I’m happy with this. I played for 5 hours straight with no game issues or crashes.

In addition, running CXPatcher on Crossover seemed to get rid of almost any stuttering, with only some on initial entrance to a dungeon.

The dedicated server also ran fine (other than the issues it inherently has) on the Macbook while playing at the same time — although I’ve only tested it in house.

So crossover is the new way? Had no luck with my old Bootcamp setup.

Bootcamp is unavailable on M series Macs, which would generally indicate an older Intel Mac that would be unable to run Palworld unless you have an eGPU setup. Crossover incorporates GPTK to enable Metal support on newer Macs.

Parallels works pretty well for lighter weight games and other general Windows applications.

Yes. I’m on an older iMac with the nvidia GeForce 780m. It’s been a great setup for a while. Guess an upgrade is in my future.

I played 8.5 hours last night using Whisky on my Mac Studio. It's open source and free, unlike Crossover.

My system is the M1 Max 32 GB base model. I was conservative with settings... Inran windowed at 1600x900 with AA off, but it was butter smooth, except for loading stutters... I could have installed it on the internal drive, but chose to put it on an external. Inreally need to buy a Thunderbolt 4 enclosure for my NVMe drive, cause the USB C enclosure I use is limited to SATA speeds.

Only glitches Inencountered was no texture on the eyes in character creator, and a weird seam in the skybox. No crashes or gameplay affecting glitches during my entire 8.5 hour run.

Are you running the newest version of GPTK? That may fix the issues you are having in Whiskey.
