Can't play palworld on M2 macbook pro

I have an M2 macbook pro with 8 processors and 24 GB of RAM. I'm using parallels to run windows 11 pro and downloaded Palworld on steam on the virtual machine. Whenever I open the game, it goes full screen black then crashes. I'm allocating 18GB of RAM, 6 processors to the virtual machine so it can exceed minimum requirements. I've tried verifying files, running as administrator and playing around with turning off fullscreen and other graphically intensive options.

Any suggestions or help? I'd love to play Palworlds as it looks incredibly fun.
