Server config resets
Everytime I restart my server with SteamCMD, the PalWorldSettings.ini file keeps resetting to an empty one. Any idea why?

I think this happens because you kept validating the server before starting, it will keep resetting. One way to stop it is just don't validate and keep a backup copy of that setting, once the server has an update overwrite that file with your backup.

Also having the same issue. I turn the server off. Edit the settings, turn back on and they reset. Nothing I can do to fix it.

I'm thinking of trying to set that file to read only and see if that will stop it, have my server running right now with players but had that same issue. Will update once I can shut down and restart the server.

Ok, I can confirm if you set that file to read only it works, made changes to on death drops and night time and it stuck without being reset. So for a work around that seems to work. FYI running on a poweredge r710 running Windows Server 12

I was able to fix mine. I accidentally omitted the first line that has the [script] part in it, and only had the settings pasted in.
