And this is not a Minecraft clone.
None of those mechanics are proprietary to minecraft... nor was minecraft the first to do survival mechanics lol. At least try.
So do 5000 other games. Still doesnt make this game or many other games a minecraft clone.
Are you asking if you can just catch monsters and remove the base building and resource gathering? Then the answer is no. You can't disable half of the game mechanics.
