'Shiny' rate

I am not sure if they are called shiny or not, but I just caught one and I am only level 5. Are the encounter rates on par with pokemon or are they more common?

I'm level 12. and not seen a single one yet :).

I guess it depends on how much you explore, though. I am still just stying fairly close to my base, I keep getting things to do around there

I've noticed my... idk, Paldex filling up with Pals I've never seen, so I think you'll probably trigger some out of your view and never even know. Which is fun. :D

They are pretty rare. I'm level 18 and I've only seen 3 so far.
You can hear them from a distance away. They have an audio cue to let you know they're around. So just explore the area when you hear it.

i don't think they're that rare tbh. I catched 4 of them. If you compare it with pokemon this game's shinies are pretty common in my opinion.

i don't know found one around lvl 14 and a bad one and never found one again after 6 more hours.
