Rumors of Cryptominer?

so it was brought to my attention theres rumors of this game being a Crypto miner..? anyone else hear about this??

I haven't heard anything like that. I DOUBT that's actually the case, but I can see the reasoning why people might come to that conclusion.

I'm on a pretty high end system, and the game seems to have a really high GPU usage. Like, higher than what you would expect. On its own, that's not THAT weird. What IS weird, is that the usage percentage seemspretty consistent, pretty much staying at 85%, but MAINLY the fact that it STAYS at the same level of usage, even when you lower settings (especially DLSS/AA settings which should have a significant impact on resource usage). I can turn Turn AA off, disable DLSS, and change from epic preset to medium, stays right around 85%.

My CPU and GPU are both pretty much at 50%
Running a RTX 3080 for a graphics card, don't really suspect a miner if it's not even running at an optimal 90%

The sadder part its a pseudo streamer. A true streamer has the charisma to pull in people to watch him and they dont need to use TTV in their names to advertise themselves cause no one cares to watch them. Spoiler alert, adding TTV does not help you, it just shows how desperate you are, and will make everyone aware of how you will make troll posts just to spread your name further even if its as a clown.

Any rumor like that unless someone showed you facts I'd chalk up as being ignorant or if I want to assume the worse then it's bc of where the devs are based out of and that's equally bad

you are the only one who gave actual info on stuff i just wanted to see of the Rumor had any backbone to it i was curious as my CPU use was at 50% use while the game was running and a friend told me they heard it was a possible cryptominer and i just wanted to see if anyone else had heard about it being such

Idk, but refreshing the server list starts setting my Malwarebytes ablaze, now. RTP outbound detections of compromised sites from multiple IPs
