BUG: Water death doesn't drop items

If you die in deep water, instead of leaving behind a bag to re-collect your items, your items just get deleted. This is ESPECIALLY problematic because one of the very first areas has a long river with a very long section of no solid ground to recover on. So you fall in, die, and lose all your items.

If this isn't the place to put bug reports, could someone point me in the right direction?

According to another thread here apparently your items don't get left in the water, they get moved to land so it's easier to recover.

Have a look around the last place on land you were before you drowned, your items maybe there.
Or around the land closest to the spot you drowned.. hopefully you'll find them there.

I did, and couldn't find anything anywhere. I died TWICE in the same general area, and neither produced a bag.

it appears to be the last point where you were on land. I found out when I glided off the toip of a big hill to get to other side of river, i died closer to other side of river but my corpse was at the top of the hill prior to me trying to glide off it.

There is a Report Bugs & Issues button under the Options tab in the ingame menu.

no it doesnt.. i just did it twice and my items were left on the cliff from where i jumped in the water.. go check where you jumped in.
