Co-op to Server - Player File does not Register
I was hosting a co-op server through Palworld. My friends and I wanted to switch to a dedicated server. When I transferred the files from co-op to the server. Evardone's player files were saved when they logged in, but my player file was reset. I noticed that when you host a co-op game your player file becomes 00000000000000000000000000000001.sav. Normally there would be some initial numbers at the beginning of these files. I tried joining another game to get my real player ID and copied it over and it did not work. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Bumping your thread, I had similar issues with character movemnt between servers in early ARK and am in the forums to find if this game allows characters to jump servers.

Having the same issue anyone manage to figure it out?

From what I understand it isn't possible to just replace the files due to some values that are inside said file. I've tried to look into the savegames but honestly this looks like some encrypted mess. Even going as far as trying to read how the savefiles are being encrypted doesn't work.

If someone else can get this to work, please tell us how you did it.

Same here, subscribing. Tomorrow I'll try to find out if all of the players data is screwed after move or only the host player is affected due to id mismatch

Same issue. Tried copying over the player ids (assuming thats the file name) of a newly created character to an old save file and it didn't work.

Also looking for an answer to this! Would love to be able to move my characters to my own dedicated server.

Probably too late, but if anyone is still looking for an answer (or will be), there are ways to do it but it will require some tech skill:
