Can I Play This Game Like ......
So I have had this game on my wishlist for quite a while and it seems like it went through some kind of evolution from the original concept of just an open world creature collector mostly to this, honestly kind of weird battle royal Pokemon game or something. Which is find people want what they want.

My question is can this game be played as just a singleplayer, open world creature collecting game like Pokemon with maybe some farming and production stuff added in and just ignore the whole gun play stuff? I mean I love combat in these types of games but not interested in arming my creatures just want them to use their own powers like most of these games.

Sorry to be all over the place but honestly looking at the game now its hard to nail down what it is trying to be but I still want it and to support it so want to know. Thanks!

Yes, you can avoid the GUN stuff because there is a variety of weapons like crossbows and of course different Pal powers of course that are not gun based

Cool and the game is balanced enough to make that a reasonable choice? Thank you for your response, much appreciated

I have not played it yet (or purchased) but from what I have seen the answer is "no", at least for the player character.
The bows and the crossbow are early level tech while the guns are all late level tech.
So roughly up to lvl 20 you will have bows and then it will only be guns, for meeleweapons and palweapons I do not know.
It seems very unlikely for me that bows will be viable at end level.
When it comes to pal powers: you can fuse pals and makes some kind of apparate to increase a pals power (multiple times), there are also special items to teach them new powers, so it might be possible that endlevel pals can avoid guns.

WOw thank you for taking the time to explain all that. .Very helpful.
Hmm much thinking to do. Looks fun for sure. The fact that you can play it totally singleplayer helps from my perspective at least. Hopefully anyway.

Thanks again!
