I caught a bunch of Cativas for exp, but I don't want them sitting around my Palbox anymore, how do I get rid of them?

you wanna keep them because later in the game you essentially merge the extras to make them stronger, or get the butcher knife and chop them up into resources. Whichever you prefer.

You can also sell them to a Contraband vendor for some extra gold

Go to Pal Party, go to Pal you want to drop, press R. It'll drop the Pal in their Pal Sphere.
