DO NOT LET ANOTHER PLAYER JOIN MID-GAME

So. I played the game for a while, built my base, had my best Pals already placed in the base -0 before my bf got a game himself and joined in. We created a guild - which reset the progress of the base. I lost ALL my Pals working in the base. They just... don't exist anymore. They are not in the box, they are nowhere. Because the base level was lowered, the game just erased them from existence :(

I had this happen earlier when my GF joined. For me, the pals didn't disappear, but somehow they were moved to her Pal box.

Have him check his box.

That sucks. I joined a friends guild while they were lvl 11, but thankfully nothing like this happened and progress was kept. Might be worth reporting it in the bug forums.

Last i checked this is still EARLY ACCESS and bugs/issues may happen...

Yeah which is why I am not mad! And why I dropped a warning to remove pals working at base before inviting people.

Same thing just happened to me when someone new joined my game. It happened right after creating a guild. Maybe creating a guild with a new player who doesn't have a palbox causes this? Backup your saves! I was able to restore my progress with a backup.

This may be caused when YOU (the host/established player) joins the new player’s guild. It appears that your palbox progress and pals are tied to your guild, which every player initially starts in their own upon spawning. So, if you join a new player’s guild, you will lose anything from your original guild. To avoid this, have the joining player walk up to you and have them join YOUR guild instead.
