Real MMO or just a CO-OP game?

This is what I'm wondering. I'm strongly considering buying this if its has Rust like multiplayer.

If you're looking for like, pvp and such, pvp isn't in the game yet as of the release. As far as the rest of it, all of the dedicated servers seem to go up to about 32 players, but only 4 if you're co-oping through joining someone that is hosting as they play.

From what i heard yes so that kinda sucks. For severs with many many players it is okay but with such small amount of players you are stuck if after a week of gameplay it appears you are on a server with griefers?
