Palworld Crashing PC
I've been playing a lil bit and having a blast! Performance is pretty good, have no issues.. other than the fact without warning, my PC will just straight up shutdown. This has never happened before with any other game and I'm really not even sure what's causing this problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And to be clear, there are no performance issues, the game is running fine, and the crashes don't occur with any decrease in performance.

Check your temperatures. I've noticed that the game makes my CPU run quite hot.

I just got a BSOD when starting up for the first time... never had one before on this machine... :O

I am have the same experience that OP is describing. No performance issues, no error. I have a strong PC, but my PC just turns off. I've also never experience this with any other game before. I have about 45 minutes of game play with five PC crashes total. I've enjoyed the time I got to play. I hope this issue is resolved soon.

I'll subscribe to this discussion in case devs need additional information.

Maybe limiting FPS helps...
I've had this happen with Star Wars Jedi Survivor as well actually. I think it has something to do with Unreal Engine as a whole with recently developed games and how it's behaving with my system.

R7 3700X and RX 5700 XT currently. Processor doesn't have a chance to go above 120-ish fahrenheit, but the graphics card was pegged up at 69-ish celsius. I'm gonna try tweaking my GPU's fan curve higher, but frankly, it's gonna be replaced this year with something in 6750XT or even 7700XT flavor.

Temps as high as 80 Celsius are no problem, if the system still crashes then too aggressive overclock settings are the most likely culprit. Either reign those settings in or supply more voltage to maintain higher clocks, if your cooling solution can handle it.
That's the funny thing. I don't overclock. It's all running on automatics.

Getting a dialog telling me to update my AMD graphics to 22.2.x, but most updated graphics are 22.6.x.

After running for a few, whole computer black screens until i hard-restart it.

same here
I cleaned the case out as a whole, and it stayed under 66c as the GPU operating temp, and SEEMED to be on track for medium-term stable operation, but I'm still gonna go ahead and run the graphics card upgrade ASAP. I've had this situation happen before with a GTX 550 Ti where I was doing everything I could to keep it under 70c so that it would....just work, but once I went to the GTX 660 I didn't have to fight to keep it stable anymore, and then to the GTX 970 it was even better.

This system started life with this RX 5700 XT, so in true form to the first custom system, this is the required update/tier up.

I've had this occur this morning too.

I ran the game at 1440p at default high settings and capped at 120 fps on vsync.

The game crashed right when I was about to mine a Paladium node at the start of the game (not that it is the cause of the problem)

My GPU is an RX 7800 XT and my CPU is an i5-12600k.

Then I switched to 60 fps cap and on Low-mid settings and the game runs perfectly

The game seems to be working for me if I adjust the graphics settings to the lowest preset possible. Any preset above the lowest has cause a crash for me.

I keep having full computer shutdown crashes. I can play Starfield, Jedi Survivor, etc with no problems but Palworld seems to be cursed. I'm running AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, with 64gb VRAM.

I have tried:
Uninstall/Reinstall (3 times)
Installing from XBox Gamepass (just to see if the issue was somehow Steam related)
Validating file integrity on both platforms
Updated system and graphics drivers (all up to date before I even started anyway)
Running the .exe as Admin

Nothing.

Cant get more than 90 seconds into a playthrough with my entire system crashing, full shutdown.

Think this is a gaphics issue. The higher you set your graphics, the quicker the crash. Should be fixed in future updates. Unfortunate as I am really enjoying the game, but I dont want to experience the game on "low" settings.

Not just happening to low-mid range hardware but high end as well...

Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800 X3D Processor
RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 96GB DDR5 7200MT/s
GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition
MOBO: MSI X670E Steel Legend
::MONITOR 1: Samsung 32" Odyssey Neo G8 4k UHD 240Hz Curved

I will update if I find a fix or a solution.
