anyone else getting this? Boot up my world that i was playing on for some reason, says that restarting the game may help but it seems i have to restart with a new world.

I think the latest patch just broke it as I can't host for my friends either right now, I'm sure they are aware of it though!
If not make sure to report it using the in-game report button

probably an issue with the PC/Network that is hosting. Having the same issue and I will find out whats up. I already have my network setup to host other steam games so maybe this one uses different settings.

it was working again for about 4 seconds but then i restarted and now its doing it again.

Same issue here, "Failed to host multiplayer session. Please check your internet connection. Restarting the game or your PC may fix the issue."
