Food Timer Setting

Is there a setting to turn off or extend the food decay timer?

If not, can it be implemented, or is there a specific reason that setting can't be changed?

Would like to see that as well.

With the coolbox you can make it last 10x longer but if the frost pal moves away it goes back down to 1x and spoils too quick again..
Lowered my food consumption rates for now so have to farm & let spoil less food lol.

I'll second this as well. Food consumption doesn't seem to be TOO bad but would love to be able to turn this off

I would very much love to at least extend the timers. This is one of the more forgiving systems I've seen and it's not too hard to get food already, but I'd also like to make it so food lasts at least a couple of in game days before starting to expire.

4th that. let's get some level of agency, even for a game's sake, transformed products last less than a day.

Yes please the fridge is a joke, and with the ability to change the length of day and night can really run into some funky problems and not just with food.
