How do I ride mounts?

Hey, I have an Eikythyrdeer and the dex says I can ride it, but I'm not seeing any prompts. Do I need to have nothing in my hands? What's the button for that again?

Im not sure yet, but the Pal gear crafting station might have a saddle you need to build for it. You should find it on the tech tree somewhere.

u need a sattle from the pal gearbench so the guy before me is right ^^

yeh its from the pal bench and i think the deer saddle unlocks at level 12/14 somewhere in that range in your tech tree.

You also have to capture the pal you want to ride. So the Elderwhatever mount will not show until after you capture one. The earlier game deer as well but it's around level 8 or whatever to capture and 10ish for the mount. All the Key Items you craft stack. So craft all of them if they sound useful for your party. They basically unlock the ability that you hold F with. Some pals have combat abilities, some are riding.
