Gameplay Seems Engaging, like a Gacha
Really considering getting this, because I swore off Gachas, but still enjoy the engaging mechanics. IE: Collecting, grinding, and tiering up. When I saw that you could smush multiple copies of Pals together, to get a higher rating, that almost sold me.

Who else thinks Gacha mechanics have a place, outside of Gacha games?

the point of gacha games is that the gameplay is designed to make the player want to use money for power up. this is game is totally different.

Good idea, someone should make a game where you collect monsters and put them in your pocket.

It does have a Gacha system but it doesn't cost any extra RL money or anything, each Pal can be caught with random traits up to 4 of them. Some are positive some are negative, so you basically are spinning the gacha wheel in the hopes you get positive ones. Thats about as Gacha-like as it gets though, and again it costs no extra money other than the initial purchaise to buy the game.

I get what you mean, it's pretty much the same for me.

I think he meant how addictive it is. I mean as I said each Pal you catch even of the same type can have up to 4 random traits, so there is a bit of excitement to see what traits that Pal you just caught actually has and if its a good one with nice traits.

You guys are missing what I'm trying to say. When I say Gacha, I don't mean the pay part, or currency. I mean the Mechanics. Thats why I specified the Mechanics. I just don't know what other game has a lot of that, other than pokemon.

Fun fact: they had a gacha vending machine in their game Craftopia 😂
