c++ runtime error
When i start the game, an error message pops up that reads: "The following components are requiered to run this program: Microsoft visual c++ runtime"
I downloaded all the versions i saw on the official page, and started them, no difference. Any tips?

I got the error too. I verified the files, it found some files that were broken, redownloaded them, and the problem was solved.

To verify the files, right click it, then click Manage. On the window that pops up, click Installed Files. One of the options is "verify integrity of game files." Click that, let it redownload anything it needs to, and hopefully that'll fix it.

Thanks for that, but I got no redownload files in the verifying process.

Ok i fixed mine by uninstalling all Microsoft Visual C++ going to microsoft website and downloading the 64x c++, BEFORE installing if you cant for some reason (like i could) not uninstall head to your taskmanager and end the task of the windows installer then uninstall them THEN do a fresh install of the current c++ from here scroll down to the Architecture section and download your systems version honestly i hope this helps someone else.

I fixed it by updating the librarys from Microsoft ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 ) and my GPU driver aswell (GPU has probably nothing to do with it tho lol)
Just download the x64 and x86 and restart your PC.

Has this been solved yet? I am having the same issues. I have reinstalled C++ and libraries. I have verified the game files and update my gpu.

Just spent 4 hours on this error... Best thing you can do is search runtime uninstall troubleshooter in google. Find the thread made by windows with the program get program. Say you have trouble installing everything from 2015...

Requires to rerun this troubleshooter multiple times.

Once done download this full package all in 1 file from https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/

Unsip. Run the .bin install all file. Het yes on every popup. Goes for 15 min or so. And will skip packages that does not require fixing. If error pops up uninstall everything from there with windows program.

Once done everything should just work. That's it.

I fixed it. Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ and reinstall both x86 and x64.
