How easy is it to cheat/script/exploit
Okay so here's the deal. I play a lot of coop games with my friends but one of them has the habit to cheat when its rather save and easy to do. Like for example when we play Valheim he is suddenly level 100 in all stats and has all maxed equipment and such. We usually just ignore that he is cheating and just play for ourselves.

So, uhm i just wanted to know if it's super easy to cheat in palworld or not. Just so i know if i can expect him to cheat or not...

PS: And pease don't hit me with some "choose better friends" bullsh*t. I won't end a friendship just because someone has flaws. I'd rather work around those flaws and have fun together when it's possible and stay away when it's not...

If you're hosting, He would only be able to play when you're online.

If you choose to do a dedicate server, It'd be fairly easy to check logs and slap him down via admin controls.
If there are official servers (Like how Conan Exiles does for example), You could choose to play there and use the threat of bans to keep him in line.

Valheim is stupid easy to hack your character because you can use your offline/solo character in multiplayer servers.
Hell, Even on a server, most mods will work for clients without any auth or checks from the server. That game is incredibly mod friendly.
So far, There isnt news of modding that im aware of. So any cheats would have to be literal cheat engine stuff.

Have you tried actually talking to him seriously and just asking him not to cheat in the game he has going with you? Telling him about how he's spoiling the game for everyone else by doing it? You should.

And after that, if he still does it, that's the point at which you need to choose better friends because he'd just have shown how little he thinks of you.

Why the heck would you want to be friends with this loser? He's clearly an entitled cheater who would lie to you about his leveling up. Get rid of him, he's no friend of yours. Just an entitled so called 'gamer'.

Okay, look. Regardless of some people being pissy about cheating, cheating in single player (or coop if everyone is okay with it) is fine. It hurts literally no one, and maybe makes the game more fun for the person doing it.

That said, I'm not saying to reconsider the friendship because he cheats. I'm saying to reconsider the friendship because you just said he blatantly lies about it and still does it after being asked to stop. The fact that you literally cant play certain types of games with him because it's an actual issue is the only answer you need, and you're already backing off of him for a reason.

THAT SAID. I don't think we yet have any confirmation on rather or not there will be VAC or Anti-Cheat or anything along those lines. However, we DO know that the 4 player coop is peer-to-peer and that the servers will be dedicated hosting by players.

So it's INCREDIBLY unlikely that you will be able to get banned; and even if they do have a system to ban people there's a 99% chance that the banning system will ONLY apply to official dedicated servers, if any of those even exist.

So, yes, you should be fine to invite your friend... But honestly the fact that you have to avoid playing with him, and that he doesn't respect other people's wishes, is really something to think about. At the very least the friend group needs to have a serious talk with him.

From what I can tell, "WeMod" offers a Trainer, that works in Singleplayer but not on Dedi Servers

Yeah like 1 or 2 cheats not the whole trainer itself

As far as I've seen, there's no anti-cheat on the game, and there's no anti-cheating on the server side. For ex. teleportation and noclip already work. It should be extremely trivial to cheat in online once more cheats are released.

Play with people that make the game enjoyable for you.

The only games that justify invasive anti-cheat software are PVP ones. Friendly co-op shouldn't imo. I have a friend like yours and ye I just stick to playing pvp games with him cos he cannot help himself when it comes to games like valheim, lol.

i use cheat engine on a test character to test a catching theory i posted on here. it's literally no effort. also i used to play games with my friend online and she assumed the same with me. some people legit can play tons of hours especially when motivated to show off to their friend. i hear some normal people play for 2 hours max. hahahahaha insanity.
