raid intensity
anybody (especially those who already played the game) know the intensity of the raid? how intense is the raid? can we decrease the raid intensity?

I'd rather want to adventure exploring the world, battle to catch and collecting monsters.

thx in advance for whoever giving the information

From what I have seen you can customize difficulty but I havent seen the actual settings for this, so no idea if you can make adjustments.

But from what I have seen, raids are super easy.

glad to know that. thx for sharing information :)
From what I've seen raids aren't always super easy. One of the videos I watched the person had their entire base burned down by a raid. Anyway you can also disable raids entirely in settings if you want (and turn them back on later IIRC) so you can disable them when you want to go exploring and turn them back on when you are at home. I'm not sure if there is an intensity setting for them.

so we can disable-enable raids in-game? not only at the beginnig of the game?

I think this is nice!
thx for the information. 😊
That's what somebody said in one of the videos. I don't have proof that it's accurate.

The custom settings look almost exactly like arks so I wouldn't be surprised if you have to close down the world, then reopen to change the settings, but it'd still be the same world and everything.

Seeing the full custom menu it appears to work how I speculated. When booting up the world you can toggle on or off raids. So if you have a solo world with raids enabled but want to go exploring for a while and don't want to setup automated defenses, you can exit to main menu, change the setting to off, then load back into the world and it'll be off. After you get done exploring you can do the same thing to turn them back on.

I'm assuming raids are pals randomly(?) attack your base?

If so that will probably be the only thing I actually turn off. I couldn't stand that nonsense in Valheim.

Pals or NPC humans. It's a little easier to deal with than valheim because your pals assigned to that base will defend it and even use defensive structures like turrets that you build. Once you are a setup it's just free resources being hand delivered to your base.

Ok cool, that doesn't sound nearly as annoying as Valheim. I just hated either having to drop everything I was doing and returning to babysit my base for (insert length of time) or building a moat around everything always and forever.

Here it's something you will likely have to deal with manually at first until your pals and defenses are sufficiently built up. I believe the raids are similar level to wild pals in that area so you might end up being needed for defense in bases built in tougher areas until you outlevel them. It somewhat stops you from building bases in areas that are too high level for you to farm higher tier resources because you won't be strong enough to defend it yet, but of course, you can always turn it off.

You can also change structure damage. I didn't see if you can lower it all the way to nothing, but if you can raids at worst would only serve to halt your bases production until you go back and clear it out. By default though they definitely can wreck your base and burn it to the ground.
