Pokemon + Rust + ARK ?

This game looks like it will be a survival game such as Rust/Ark but with the Pokemon style added in. Single player will most likely be very boring after a while, not a big storyline driven gameplay.

So the main focus would be playing in co-op with 4 other friends or with 32 others on a dedicated server as they mentioned.

They say PVP will be added later on, so I guess it will not exist at EA launch?

So my point is that this game is a PVEVP game meaning you play against AI enemies, but also against humans or with humans and they will develop the game forr that format, not with a single person alone playing in mind. This is not pokemon other than the pets we collect and hunt and possibly EAT to survive.

I believe it will be made with single-player in mind and multiplayer will be an afterthought similar to the vibes I get from Craftopia.

It would be very boring as solo since theres not any storyline I bet. Its just shooting things that look like pokemon in a world alone that way.

Edit: Then again Pokemon doesn't have that strong stories.

Pokemon has a whole story of a long journey to get badges and takes you from region to region meeting trainers and so on.. This game seems like its more sandbox, no story at all, or very little.

So to keep you entertained it would take some competition from other players or family/friends. You create the story and battles in this kind of game, without that, you get bored in a week tops.

Minecraft is nothing like this

Apparently PvP won't even be present for Early Access release instead being added later.
