Wow what a game.
Just finished this on gamepass and really enjoyed it. It reminded me of games in the past where story was #1 and not politics ,gender identity or predatory game practices like day 1 dlc, microtransactions and lootboxes. GOTY for me. Kudos chinese room for this game.

I've been really blown away by the whole experience. I'm a huge fan of the genre anyway.

I finished it on Gamepass but I will definitely pick this up on steam when it goes on a sale and play through again.

I can't stop thinking about the game since i finished it. It's really stuck with me.

I wish there would be more exploration, puzzles, task, not just turn this valve and pull that lever for the 100th times, this game could be much more better

Well, you did play it for free. Would you feel the same if you actually bought it?

I haven't even completed it yet but I'm thoroughly enjoying everything about it

A breath of fresh air, stunning UE5, incredible voice acting and story. GOTY so far for me.

I'll definately be replaying even if it's just to get the Gaelic achievement.

Yes because I'm at the point in my life where I value time more than I do money. I got a good game beginning to end with no fillers, no side story to stretch the game time and all the above mentioned in my op.

Games like this are far and few nowadays so It's rare you get games like these. They will go extinct for corporate greed.

Thank you all so much for the great comments! It means a lot to us at Secret Mode and The Chinese Room!

Well there's still that little wink in regards of politics, Addair being a facist and some communists joke at the beginning when characteres are introduced. but other than that. it's a very good fresh breath of air

You could have destroyed us even more if we could actually give the insulin to Roy before he dies on us

Damn, so close, you had all good points until you had to bring your politics into it. Ironic.

He's right though, this is getting REALLY. ANNOYING :vega:

But I guess it still kinda make the "deadbeat dad ran away and left his family behind" trope :cleanseal:

While I'm at it as a fellow gamer I would recommend those two games :

This one is a sci-fi sea theme by a south african studio still under the radar, not the same kind of gameplay (isometric point & click) but IDK the ambiance is also fleshy underwater BS

Theorically it's the sequel from Stasis and Cayne but it's new story, characters, places so it doesn't really matter... it's more polished too.

And this one is just too good if you didn't played it :cleanseal:

Did you manage to miss the political aspects of corporate greed and unionisation efforts?
The oil rig is in such a poor state because of the former, & "Trots" is named for Trotsky because he's a committed working class leftist, & the inciting incident only happens in the first place because Rennick himself prioritises potential profit over the health and safety of the workers.

Real weird to throw in a complaint about trans people existing and being represented (scarcely) in media too.
What's that about?
