From my limited knowledge & snuffling through the files, it looks like there's a missing exe that (since it can't be found) is causing the crash. Tried verifying the files (nada), now trying to reinstall.
Should be enough if the system requirements on the steam page are to be believed
Wasnt the whole path wrong, was looking myself and I didnt Even find the first folder
Well the shader problem is due to your intel 13th gen cpu. Intel finally admitted the problem last month. It has been going on for over a year now, it is very well known if you do a google search. You can fix it 2 different ways, either update your motherboard bios or you can downclock your CPU multiplier by 2X. It is not the game or devs fault it is most definitely an intel issue. The easier way is to get the XTU intel extreme tuning utility software and bump the multiplier down by 2x. What is happening is your CPU is getting either too much voltage from your motherboard or a lot of motherboards do auto overclocks to the 13th and 14th gen chips without you even knowing.
Ffs, I Just did this.... in XTU it was greyed out for me, Even tho UVP was disabled in bios.. i also just updated my bios to the newest.. so why is it greyed out, and by 2x do u mean from 1.100 ish to 0.550?
No no, the actual multiplier. By default its normally around 57 or 56 just bump it down by 2.
Ah,I get you,but I couldnt change anything in xtu. And I think mine was set to 53
Try the Pcore which is performance core ratio and bump it down 1 or 2 more notches. If that doesn't fix it, it must be something else or maybe xmp profile.
Keep tuning it until it gets stable or stops the crashing.
I found a fix that worked for me:
Through steam's properties page have the game start with this command line:
-dx11
The second time immediately after I reached the top of the elevator.
Game was still running but couldn't interact with it. As soon as I exited out of the fatal error pop up, the game force closed.
Really sorry for this. I've passed this thread along to our QA department as a critical issue.
We thank you so much for your patience on this!
