Hey! Yeah that's an annoying one, we're working on a fix, meanwhile you can manually edit your save file to fix it. You want to go into game installation folder/Copycat_Data/Saves and find a JSON file there named after your Steam ID (lots of numbers). You can open it with the notepad, find "Load_ContinueScene" and change the value to match the scene you want to load. Here's a quick list of scene numbers, look for the number in the left column: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UH60It6a-xJqQnDalP_55PmLrcw3WHg94rw7elVz0ks/edit?usp=sharing. Save the file and load the game, should work. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, if you could please let me know what value was there and what scene was crashing, it'd be very very handy. Big thanks!

How do I access the game's options?

I've just started playing and would like to change the graphics quality (because my PC is quite old and on “medium” settings it only barely manages 30 fps). However, I can't find a way to access the options or get back to main menu. Esc, Tab or Enter keys do nothing. I have to use alt+F4 to exit the game. This can't be right, can it? Any advice?

That's weird indeed, ESC should pause the game and open the settings menu. Does it still not work after restart / reinstall of the game?

Restarting the game didn't help, and I also tried switching to controller, but couldn't pause the game with that either.

However, Steam's game file verification seems to have done the trick. I can now access the pause menu without any problems. So, all's good :) Thanks for your quick response!

If you jump at the top of the railing in the house, it sends you to the roof. Maybe the attic? Lost some progress because there wasn't a way down, but it wasn't a big deal

Yikes :) What scene did that happen in?

When Olive was in her room not responding, i went downstairs then when i came back up, i jumped on the railing and after i jumped at the top it sent me to the roof. Sorry if this is confusing! Not really sure how to explain. Also, sorry for the late reply!

i just got to the scene where mae is kicking me out and then it blacks out and everytime i load it back up from checkpoint it does the same thing? i tried to redownload the game but that didnt fix it, any way to fix this?

Loved the game, but I think all of the achievements might be bugged to some degree. I just played the game start to finish and should have earned:

Apex Predator
Escape Artist
Rembrandt
Forever Home
Ninja Kitty
102%
Marathoner
Got Milk?
Purrsuasive!
Sniper
Cabonssi Thief
and possibly Pretty Fly for a Butterfly

Yet none popped for me

Low FPS (20s-30s) for about 70% of the demo even on low settings at 1440p. Running on a RTX 4080. Still a beautiful game though.

I'm stuck in the alleyway with the group of cats, the keyboard stops working when you have to push the keys to intimidate the other cats, the game locks up, restarted the game same thing happens, this is PC windows 11. on a G19 Keyboard , cant progress anymore beyond that point help.

Since the point with the mouse and the other cat, the cat fights are broken, It stops with the letters to push- so the game ends here, based the 'Z' letter wont get accept. Also no other letters at that point.

Thank you for reporting. Are you using a QWERTY layout keyboard?

For now, while we're looking at what may be causing the bug, easiest way for you to proceed is to jump to the next level:

- Find the Copycat_Data/Saves folder in the game installation path and
- Edit the text document named after your Steam user ID in the folder.
- Find "Load_ContinueScene" and increase its value by 1.

This should let you move on to the next level. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi, I'm loving the game but I having a problem with the game. When the doberman approach me at the porch and after trying the minigame 3 times to get him back off, the game just crash and close.. Can u help me pls?
