And again the same thing!
How can I turn off this ungodly feature?

Here is how you disable the motion blur:

- go to: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Lingcod\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\
- open the following file in a txt editor: Engine.ini
- add the following chunk of txt : * note - removing AA is not necessary but if you get motion sickness it will help *

[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0

- save the file and boot up the game

Will they fix so you can turn off this feature? I greatly dislike motion blur and always turns it off. I'm into buying this game but it appears to have some problems..

If anyone knows where the .INI files are I can fix it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

One issue down, now, if the game would stop trying to centre the camera that would be great!

You can show if the game has motion blur or not, spin the camera around and make a screenshot, with motion blur setting on and off.
You won't normally notice it, if you're playing the game and focusing on stuff, if you're just casually looking at someone else play, you might see it. Plus it gives extra frame smoothness.
Albeit I don't like to use it (as it gets on it's own blurry if you move around or look around), and like to use that broken lens effect (which is nothing about realism), but I do like to use depth of field (which adds realism, as there is 0 depth perception in a game).

Because it helps with performance, it was designed for consoles to raise FPS. And crappy PCs. It should be off by default on PC though...

It doesn't aid performance in the slightest, 8f anything, it very slightly negatively affects performance as it is an extra affect to apply.

It's intended use was /bi's to try and make it look more natural, something it fails at horribly.
