Why item keeps despawning as soon as it drops

I need ocean sapphire to progress but everytime it drops it disappears after like half a second and I can't make space to pick it up. What the ♥♥♥♥?

That sounds like a bug. Normally items never despawn and will float there until you pick them up.

The only other explanation i can think of is that it actually isn't an ocean sapphire and it's stacking into the same item in your invo. If that's not the case, then defo a bug.

I have the same issue since the latest update with desert rubys.
First I thought I might have been mistaken - but one dropped right in front of my eyes and just despawned in a matter of a second before I could get it. Probably happend with 3-4 of them in total today.

It was very distinctly the right shape, and I was too far away to pick it up the second time. I figured that might have been it the first time but definitely not the second time.

I guess I'm taking a break until some kind of update, or at least an explanation of how to keep it from happening again...

I was looking online to see if anyone else has this same problem, because i can only get the gems if they are found in the chest. whenever i see it drop by mining, it appears for a few seconds and disappears. any clues on how to fix this? it has happened to all epic gems

let me know if you find anything in regards to this bug.

+1 this bug sucks, spent an hour+ looking for ocean sapphire, finally find one and i even get the notification for a new item but then nothing in my inventory.
