Download Makos Buff Mod.
Run the game and exit it so the mod can generate the necessary config files.
Press Windows Key + R and open:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\2771360\mods\MakosQOL
There are 3 config files that affect durability:
Config-DurabilityIncreaseAfterMiningOre.json
Config-EquipmentDurabilityLastsLonger.json
Config-ToolDurabilityLastsLonger.json
Edit these and the tools and equipment will be affected by whatever you input for the value.
Agree, years ago I've seen suggestions people asking for durability options and losing backpack when you die and nothing has been done yet. Rlly sad.
I can see why the devs would not want to add the option to lose backpack on Death. There are quite a few items in the game that are either unique or very rare, which means losing the item would mean you had to start a whole new world to be able to find said item again. If someone likes that kind of punishment, they can always give hardmode a go :D
Makes 0 sence to me. If someone doesn't want that feature, just turn it off. Why not making every kind of gamer happy and not only the ones that love hardcore stuff ?
