what do them bugs do tho
Do critters caught with the net serve any purpose? I couldn't find any info on the wiki...

The Critters you catch with the Bug Net get added to your inventory, almost like items. You can then place them out elsewhere in the world. People generally use the net to move Critters like the various coloured Glowbugs around (closer to their bases, for example).

You can feed them to the white birds that you find in the desert and garden biomes. I trap them with the cattle trap and made a little farm. Desert biome seems great for bugs, wide and open.
