Chest crafting range decreased and I don't know why

So I looked it up and crafting stations are supposed to be able to pull resources from chests ten tiles away in every distance an seven diagonally. Now suddenly in my new world it's way less tiles than it's supposed to be. The crafting stations still pull items from chests, they just have to be a few tiles closer which is kind of a big problem with how I planned out my base and the sorting system... I did have a lot of mods installed but none of them are supposed to change the crafting range AND when I disabled all of my mods and tried again, it still didn't work. Can anyone help me?

I found out about that soon after I posted that as well but I forgot to put it here 😭 I'm sure in like two years there's gonna be someone still being saved by your reply though..
