You can create a new world with that seed and beeline to the chipped blade coordinates and later delete the world when you no longer need it.
Edit :
You have to kill the first 3 bosses to take down the wall, but that should not cost much time with a skilled and well equipped character. Coordinates for those bosses should be available in that thread, too.
Umm......wut? If you haven't cleared the first three bosses, then you don't have access to the jungle yet. Also, there's multiple guides on how to "farm" for it. Go look at the guide section.
Anyway, assuming there's a communication failure going on......the chipped blade can be a royal pain in the ass to find, even when you do everything right. I finally gave up on it after a couple months of "farming" scenes, then almost immediately found it by accident once I started working on moving to the Sunken Sea, but that's not an option for you.
The problem is that the devs made the spawn criteria for the scene for the chipped blade temple pretty open-ended, so it can occur over a very wide area, but severely limited both its size and its spawn frequency, so even when you know how to hunt for it, you're still looking for a needle in a haystack.
Like I said before, there are guides on how to maximize the efficiency of your search, so go dig up one of those, but even then, be prepared to occasionally give up on this one for a while. The Rune Song is only a minor improvement over the weapons you'll be crafting/finding in the next biome, and even then is only worth it if you're spamming close quarters attacks, which isn't a very viable combat strategy in this game. I regretted the time I put into hunting for it almost immediately. Unless you've got an absolutely autistic need to have it before you move on (not mocking, I was that way with it until I gave up), it'll be much more worth your while to just PLAY the game for a while, then occasionally go back with better gear so you can dig through everything faster.
P.S. Not every guide mentions it, but you'll want to go to https://maptool.ceschmitt.de/. It's an online map management tool that's gonna be useful in making sure you're handling your search correctly. It looks like it might not quite be up to date with how the current version of the game works, but it'll be functional enough for what you're doing.
Good luck.
i mean if started a new seed i would have kill the bosses :D. i will look it up a bit more thank you
This is what ive done so far. so if i go back to areas i have explored their a chance it spawned?
i finally found a door with a tulip on it. opened it and no chipped blade. i think this game has beat me :(
Here's what I mean. The flag on the left is where I marked mine. Notice that I traversed so much in the jungle but that it never led to anything. But once I just kept circling the border, I found it. https://i.imgur.com/3pycIjp.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/pIBONOG.jpeg
This helped me find this in about 20 minutes after about 8 hours just randomly hacking through the forest.
Cheers.
