Can we please get floracada pets/Cattle

I cant say anything constructive beyond, i would love one as a pet, or cattle, a mount. I have always loved cicada's and seeing them in game like they were have just made my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ year. Im gonna try and get a mob farm of them for now but they are beautiful and thank-you profusely pugstorm!

You're the only one I've seen mention the floracadas and I can't tell if I'm just not paying attention or if its just my world is bugged, but is there any specific way to spawn these things? I've been struggling for a while and any info is of massive help :'D

If you updated your world then you can find floracadas rarely in the wilderness. They have burrows that if you place hardened sap in front of it they will spawn. Im pretty sure they also fly towards the sap as well.

Well i now know i mistook the Cicada Nymph for floracada, but i would love to have both as pets/cattle for stuff... Regardless, you can find them in the new areas the latest update added within the wilderness and desert areas.

Does anyone have tips on how to find the Floracada? I've scoured most of the Wilderness for hours and haven't seen one yet, or any trace of them.

As my luck typically dictates, I find one 5 minutes after asking for advice.

I made a new world, chaos off, ore normal, tunnels off, chambers off, rivers off, pits off but Lakes Extreme. Sailed past the wall and have found three of their burrows so far.
