Exotic Cattle Wrangling?

I'd like to start ranching some of the other cattle mobs (Dodos, Kelpies and Drohmbles), but I'm not sure whether it would be less of a hassle to try and leash them back to an enclosure back at the Core or to just make a whole new base out in each of the exterior biomes? Any advice?

Easiest way I find is to just use those cattle boxes to bring them to your base.

you can cage them into your inv and release anywhere you want too

Appreciate the offer, but there's too many cute critters in my world I still gotta rescue!
