Cant find Large Maze

I wanna craft the rune song, but I cant find the large maze...
World is new, not old.

Large maze?

Bosses are the good source for the hilt. Hive mother or Sky Titan.

Chipped Blade?

That's a small temple that requires the glowing tulip.

Clear Gemstone?

That's a Medium Maze.

The small temple is only 8x8 and easy to miss.

Check the guides section. If I remember right, there's one in there for how to go about searching for mazes. It was either that or the online map tool has a function for highlighting the unexplored areas of your map that could contain one.

Oh, also, don't devote too much more time to that sword than it takes to get whatever else you want out of the Wilderness biome. By then, you should have a bunch of hilts and maybe two or three orbs, but that damnable blade will absolutely break you unless you get crazy lucky and find it by accident. Even then, it's only worth it if you plan on tanking enemies up close. If not, you'll get better weapons in the very next biome.

P.S.....same deal for the scythe. An extra day or two once you've done everything else......maybe.

In my current game I got the scythe before the gem, and I've not even seen where the blade is.

I'm tempted to grab one from my stash, but there's so few in it, I just don't complete the wilderness often.

i got the blade on my first hive mother try haha. I got the runesong now, i have a meelee build. I use the ninja set rn with the runesong, good combo.

Hive mother drops the hilt, so you must have had the blade from before and forgotten about it.

Heh, we all have runs like that. But nicely done getting the runesong, as long as you keep upgrading that, it keeps being pretty good of a weapon.

What the other guy said about the blade. Talk about getting lucky. I spent months strategically farming scene spawns before I finally gave up on both the blade and the scythe and decided to move on to the sea biome. I immediately found the blade once I started mining out my access path to the region of the forest where Azios was, and found two scythe dungeons while mining out the area outside of his arena in order to expand it. I had..........opinions....about that situation.
