Loot on the ground I don't think is the issue. Why cuz my wife and I had this same issue. Untell I found out it's the graphic settings.
Both wife and I have a great pc and can run RDR2 on Ultra settings. But running core keeper on max seems to cause issues. Once we switched to next lowest. This issue went away.
Turning shadows off will also help with this. Imo the high settings are not optimized well.
I'm also no dev so perhaps access loot could be playing a part. Dont think so as I said above.
Edit: oh and turning on v sync can greatly help with this as well.
Yeah I kinda thought of that right after I posted lol, duh moment for sure. A forced despawn would suck for farming some items (drilling, etc.). Maybe just a command or something could be neat as an option. I'll try adjusting my settings a little. I have vsync on already, but maybe I can tone it down a bit in other areas.
