Thread of Fate tile distance?

Has anyone found the "eye shrine" in The Desert of Beginnings? I have almost all of the map up to 2500 tile distance uncovered and still cannot find the Thread of Fate... If you have it found, what's the tile count? I really don't want to have to go mining through every large rock formation to find this thing.

I did find the Crystal Meteor already and that is at 1200 tiles. That should make it much easier to go mining now.

After mining through every large rock formation at 1200 tiles, I can definitely say that it is not at 1200 tiles from the core in The Desert of Beginnings. I guess I'll try 1000-1500 tile range.

I was looking at the wrong one, yha, crystals is 1200. There is no fixed location for the eye shrine. Any randomly generated scene might be it. Not sure if digging through things is best.

Course, you can get mining up over 1800 so... could be worse.

that's exactly what I'm looking for. I have everything within a 2000 tile distance from the core found, expect for within the large rock formations...
can you use this site: https://maptool.ceschmitt.de/ and let me know at what tile distance your formation is at? That would help a ton.

Mine spawned right next to the fan ruin around 1300. You can see the cypher tablet shinning in there, it's the big telltale. Any tablets you see go check them out.

Hope I'm wrong but it does appear to not be something you can nail down. I do believe there is truth to the idea that it spawns fairly close to other important story spawns.

Here's mine around 1100 blocks in, very close to Desert boss spawn -

Thanks, but I have everything in the desert uncovered from a tile distance of 2,000 from the core and no "eye" ruins. I've even gone through all of the large "rock" formations with no success.
I think my seed has screwed me.

Mine was at 1200ish as well.
I've heard reports as early as 600 and past 2,000.

Make scanners for the first 3 bosses, stack your mining speed, return to the core, head into the sand, and ... yha, could get back there in 5 minutes.

Just don't move your entire base, swap worlds BACK to the other when invintory gets full.

You can even skip the scanners, in case you re-summoned these bosses in another world and brought their keys you can activate the 'hand on the wall' before breaking a single wall.

Just bring a scanner for Ra-Akar or Igneus, so you know in which direction to head out, towards the sand...

That is an interesting cheese, that I also use :)
