Modding - non existent?
So i thought this game was ideal for modding:

- big longterm Community
- fun game
- items etc are 2d so less effort required for new items and blocks
- items that could be just recolored for variants (for example wood floor etc)

So i looked into the modding sites and the only thing i see is the absence of content mods and mods in general? Just a few quality of life mods.

Is there a reason? Is modding for this game hard or even very restrickted by design?

Other similar games like starbound have a huge mod variety so i was eeally wondering whats the reason. Even if it was unpopular - which it isnt - there would at least be some content mods etc.

Even before it was out i there werent many mods.

And yes its "just" a month - but one would imagine that there would be lots of simple material color change mods etc. - things that usually dont take much work.

Also - is it normal that the mod page is broken ingame?
- i usually cant scroll without alt+tab of the window at least once
- search randomly has no results when using the same word

Is it even possible to for example recolor an armor etc.?

Just looked at the modsite again:

1 real Mod within the last 2 Days
1 real Mod within the last 9 days

Even if you count the "mods" that are just uploaded worldmaps its pretty much nothing.

This is really strange - i cant think of a single game with modding with so few mods - especially when the game is actually popular. So either its not possible/too hard to do even simple things like different colors or ther eis absolutely no modder interrest.

Well, the game is not very modder-friendly, we have some nice QoL mods out there though.
