setting up a server without steam client?

right now i have dedicated server using the steam client but that doesn't let me access the game using geforce now or steam deck since only 1 unique pc can run games. Is there a way to move the server and run it without using a steam client? I would like to run it from my pc if possible. thanks.

steam cmd

if you wan´t external connections so a friend can join too than you probably need to manual port forward rule on your router too.

if you wan´t external connections so a friend can join too than you probably need to manual port forward rule on your router too.

idk if its possible to move over the saves onto the dedicated server i personaly have no experience with it in this game

but if its possible it has to be done manualy (aka you would have to copy all the relevant data into the steam cmds/corekeeper dedicated servers folder into the correct folders and even when you can join you better double check if everything is working as intended

Since you already have Core Keeper Dedicated Server installed via Steam. Right-Click Core Keeper Dedicated Server > Manage > Browse Local Files > run Launch.bat

It will start the server for you without running through Steam
