Melee Attack Speed Cap?

Hello :D
I am relatively new to this game.

Using the ritual dagger, I went from around 48% melee attack speed to around 63% melee attack speed with some food and gear, but I don't see any changes in how fast I am hitting.

Is there a limit to the attack speed that you can get?

Bumping this. Both melee and range attack speed buffs from gear seem to do absolutely nothing.
I feel like this is a bug.

Range attack does seem to work from my experience, primarily going off of using blowpipes, phantom spark or arcane staves and switching from a balanced combat set to a set dedicated to ranged attack speed for training. Melee I really don't have enough experience in to tell for certain.
