Enemies breaking blocks/tiles should drop the blocks/tiles.
^ Title. When enemies that can destroy blocks (stone mushrooms, etc) or destroy tiles (Omoroth is a good example), the blocks/tiles should drop for the player. I just don't see a reason why they wouldn't.

In my world, there's a mushroom farm (which is just a big cave with mushroom tiles) and an Omoroth arena made of wood bridges. Both get beaten up and have some blocks destroyed whenever I use them. There's probably ways around this, like an automated mushroom farm, but my point is that I don't get why these enemy attacks can't just drop the blocks they're destroying.

that's all. Hope this gets updated or something.

If it's a player crafted block (IE, A stone wall, a scarlet wall), it should drop whet it gets broken. Are you just surrounding your mushroom farm with dirt?

Also, automated mushroom farm, Place fungal stuff, then place a spike on top. The spikes will kill any spawning mushrooms and any mushrooms that grow from the soil will get uprooted automatically. You have to manually collect of course, since you can't put conveyors over the spikes, but it's the easiest way in my experience.

Just dirt atm. But I still believe that if an enemy breaks it, it should drop the blocks.

For Omoroth, even if you craft bridges and cover the water with them, they won't drop when his tentacles break them. It's a little frustrating imo and I don't think the game gains anything from this design choice. It would just be a little better if they dropped the blocks.

You can use wooden fence instead. It will drop wooden fence or..... You dig a holes around your mushroom farm. That I been doing that lately. I find it work really well. Since holes don't count as a wall and also it not some thing that enemy can break any way. Since there nothing for them to break or tey can't stand on holes. So far I don't see any monster can jump over a pit holes any way or fill up holes that I made at all. Just go make a shovel and start digging.

I like to say I saw it first hand. I shoveled dirt near base to range the blue king slim
and lets say he did jump the gap and when he moved from that spot the ground returned granted I am sure I only removed one title or two to be away from him, but I was shook. this happened yestrday
