What's the point of cattle?
I've already killed two of the bosses. I don't need milk, and I don't need wool. Soooo... what's the point of cattle? Am I missing something?

its under utilized for sure. milk really needs to be added into the cooking.

Wool seems to be relatively useless, as are Strolly Polly shells. That said, milk is a pretty strong armour buff that stacks very well with the armour buff from carrocks, and meat from several of the cattle has a strong damage buff when cooked. In later zones you'll find other cattle that also has various beneficial effects.

Game has an official discord and the community there is very active, as well as the devs I believe. Might be a good idea to go there and post in the suggestions channel

You need their stuff to craft mid- to endgame-armor, carts and also glam.

As long as you´re not in the jungle-biome, all you can do with wool is to craft said glam. But after it all has its purpose.

And about milk, eggs, meat etc... just consume it, cook it, whatever. They´ll grant huge buffs.

Though I noticed cooking mainly combines the effects of each food. There's usually no "1+1=3" sort of synergy. So it's almost the same to just eat milk at the same time you eat another food.

Adding synergetic effects to recipes would make cooking more valuable.

there is actually wool needed in some crafting recipes. just because YOU dont need the wool doesnt means others dont need it aka want to craft that stuff for whatever reason.

aaaand the milk is aktually really good for armor builds aka tanks since it gives 23.5% armor bonus for 1 minute which is on an armor build an immense boost expecially in late game. here again, just because YOU dont need it doesnt means others dont need/use it.

Good point but let's that disregard that milk for example could be used for a wider range of things like cooking. Their are some good ideas here.

wool is needed for last couple craftable bags among a couple other end game craftables. that being said you find enough of it in higher teir locked chest to render raising cattle obsolete. there are potion and cooking alternatives to the milk. overall cattle are about useless in this game.

this game seems to have way too many oversights, I need to start reviewing more carefully before purchasing (milk not being used for food is riddiculous) and why would milk boost armor? that logically makes no sense even in a rpg setting , milk should have been used to add mana, even in world of warcraft milk is used to recover mana

I noticed that using a Golden variant of a plant together with a fish type food would improve the fish type's food buff.
So there is some sort of 1+1=3 synergy.

Yes, I noticed this with the yellow- and green-headed fish. So there are exceptions to my observation.

I just think it should be like that for everything. And I think there should be different unique modifiers for different combinations of ingredients.
